menALIVE was founded in 2003 by Robert Falzon, Peter Shakhovskoy and a small group of lay men who are married, single, have families and careers but these men also wanted to do something about the question “Where are all the men?”
These ordinary men had experienced something powerful through the Church that there is something greater than ourselves to live for.
And they wanted other men to encounter what they had experienced.
Out of this desire was founded menALIVE A National Catholic Ministry to Men.
Since its beginnings in 2003, menALIVE has now run more than 300 events in 26 dioceses throughout Australia and New Zealand for in excess of 18,000 men.
